Upon retirement, commenced Fire Safety Training Consultancy Service, self employed. Successfully securing contracts with the NHS Trust, Local Authorities and many others in the private nursing and residential care sector, industry and commerce generally. Additionally served as Housing Inspection Officer for South Kesteven District Council with a particular reference to "houses of multiple occupation"
Fire Safety Consultant
An experienced Fire Officer with a broad based background of operational fire fighting skills together with fire prevention duties developed over a total of 32 years service. Progressing into mainstream fire safety duties undertaking legislative type work including the inspection of properties and the preparation of fire safety reports. (I.E. Houses in multiple occupation)
Fire safety Training
Upon promotion, established and developed the Education and Advisory Service. This involved the implementation of a broad basis of training courses carried out in a wide variety of business and commercial premises.
Fire Risk Assessments
Undertaken in conjunction with Associates.
